Summit postponed!

In recent weeks, government circles have repeatedly insisted that the EU-China Summit in Leipzig take place as planned. Now the German government spokesman announced on 3 June 2020 that the summit will be postponed. A new date should be found quickly. Leipzig is to remain the venue. It took some time to realize that even heads of state and government as well as several thousand employees and journalists could not be protected from the coronavirus at such an event. It was probably also important to the German government and the European Council that it did not appear that the postponement of the summit had anything to do with the current decisions of the Chinese leadership. Despite the new security law for Hong Kong, there was only a stronger commitment to the meeting.

Postponed is not abandoned.
Despite the uncertain date, we are sticking to it:

When the time comes, come to Leipzig to attack the summit together with us! No rest for the rulers – not here in Leipzig and not elsewhere! No to the EU-China Summit!

Further information will follow. The preparations continue!
